Blackline Studio is the communication studio of Blackline Bookings, the electronic music booking agency founded by Arturo Jornet.
Why it exists
In booking we see the same problem every week: the line-up is locked, the date is half-announced and the copy gets written the night before, in one language and in a rush. The RA listing ends up two lines long and bios get copied from wherever.
Blackline Studio was set up to fix that from the inside. We speak the language of the booth and of the office: what a rider asks for, how a timetable is built, why a warm-up deserves its own text and what a promoter expects to find in an EPK.
